This site is designed to provide hi-res images, datasheets, press releases and other information for our dealers, distributors and the press. To get the best out of this service, we recommend that you read these instructions fully before use.
The Imagebank
The Imagebank provides access to JPG images of products and other items with thumbnails and previews for easy selection.
- Click on 'Images' in the menu bar to access the front-end of the system, or choose a product category: 800 series, C & G series, Compact, Video, or Speakers from the menu bar or a section from the menu to the left to go direct to that section. Note that some areas – rooms, accessories and museum – are accessed only via the main images link or the left-hand contents menu on this page.
- Choose a folder for the subject you're looking for and click on it.
- If necessary, click on a now-visible sub-folder to view its contents.
- Choose an image you like. The product name will be in the file name. If you want to see a bigger preview, click on the thumbnail image.
- You may need to scroll up to view the image(s).
- To download an image, right-click/control-click on the 'Download' button and choose "Save link as…" or "Save target as…". Simply clicking on the button will attempt to display the full-sized image, which may not be desirable.
About the thumbnail pane
The thumbnail pane shows you the filename; a thumbnail of the image; the image's size in pixels, mm / inches at 300dpi, and MBytes; the file format (usually JPEG); and when it was uploaded.
- Clicking Download will display the full image – you may not want to do this. Right-click on the button to save the image.
- Clicking on the thumbnail will display a larger preview image.
- The larger preview image links to the actual file in the same way as the Download button in the thumbnail pane.
- In a few cases the thumbnail will be black. This is because the file is a CMYK JPEG. These will be updated to RGB in due course. You may not be able to display the file in your browser, and you may see an (erroneous) error message. You can download the target file in the usual way and it will function correctly.
If you need hi-res TIFF images they are also available. Contact us with a description of what you want (eg the JPEG image that you like) and we'll send you links to download it. By and large, all the JPEG images are available as TIFFs.
Other areas
The menu items logos, press, and data link straight to directories containing files of relevant logos (often in EPS format), press releases and product data sheets respectively.

In general, both JPEG files (generally under 2-5MB) and TIFF files (up to 100MB) are available of the same image (with virtually the same filenames). If you want to run large-scale (eg full page) images in a magazine or advertisement, you need the TIFF files. If you're illustrating a small news item, for example, or for the web, the JPEGs will do. Don't, however, try using the JPEGs for large-scale usage in print: you won't like the results and nor will we. See more detailed information below.
About this site
This server contains images of Meridian products and lifestyle images (rooms containing Meridian products), plus Meridian and related logos, press releases, datasheets, advertising materials (both in PDF format and original artwork files), and other items. There's also a miscellaneous section for images that don't quite fit in anywhere else – such as photos of the founders, the factory and so on.
This server is a permanent facility, so you don't need to download everything – which in any event will be updated as new material becomes available. Simply choose the files you want immediately. If you need images of a specific product or for a specific purpose, ask us and we'll provide direct links to suitable material. The latest files are listed in the left column.
Some areas of this server are password-protected. If you need to access them and have not received a username and password, please let us know.
